VIC:Pilot and passenger survive crash
A pilot and her passenger have walked away from a light plane crash in a Melbourne
backyard .. just a few hundred metres from the Moorabbin Airport runway.
The single engine plane clipped the roof of a house after its engine failed as it came
in for landing.
The 28-year-old female pilot from Hawthorn and her 70-year-old male passenger were
on an aerial photography mission .. and climbed from the wreckage unhurt.
Paramedics say it's a miracle they were able to walk away from the crash .. and police
say the plane is a write-off.
