Vic: Man suffers facial burns after firework explosion
MELBOURNE, Dec 28 AAP - A man has been taken to hospital with facial burns after fireworks
he was handling exploded in his face.
The man, 24, was with two others in the backyard of a home in Sunbury in Melbourne's
north west when the incident occurred about 12.40am on Monday.
The man had placed the firework in a long tube and when he went to light the wick,
it exploded, a Victoria Police spokesman said.
He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with facial injuries.
